Hi My stamping friends!
So here we go with part one of My Craft Space... These are the BEFORE shots. It's taken me a little while to organise these blog posts as I haven't made any dramatic changes, just more of a reshuffle of everything old really! But I hope it gives you some ideas for your space anyway!
I left my big desk back in Cairns so when we moved in here in Melbourne I tried to squeeze all my essential stamping things on this desk below which is more of a computer desk. It worked okay and I did like having some storage above for my current stamps but the actual work surface was not big enough, especially for scrapbooking. I kept all my essentials to the right of the workspace such as my Stampin' scrub, Stampin' write markers, Stampin' trimmer and ribbons (in the pink and green plastic box).

Below is inside the wardrobe in our study. These cheap little shelves have been handy storage in my old 'laundry stamp room' and now fit nicely into the wardrobe. But having my inks in the wardrobe just wasn't cutting it! Way too far from my workspace! These shelves hold my retired stamp sets, embossing tools, punches, wheels and extra items.
And this filing cabinet below was home to my Big shot and Big shot storage box for all my dies and embossing folders. This worked okay in the short term as that pile of papers on the right was not always there and I would place the Big shot there when I needed to use it and had access to the storage box.
I'm terribly sorry to tease but you will have to stay tuned to see what I have done differently as I share in the next couple of days! The best part of my Craft space upgrade is the addition of our 'old' dining table which gives me much more workspace! So, stay tuned ;)
