Say Goodbye, Say Hello.....

In the world of Stampin' Up! Australia, August is the month we say Goodbye to so many of our favourites! The retiring list has been released and can be found here. If you would like to order any of these items please email me clairedaunceysu@gmail.com as soon as possible so that you don't miss out as these items are only available while stocks last! I will be placing an order this weekend if you would like to add to this you will only have to pay the 5% workshop order postage instead of the $5.95 postage.

Also, with our beautiful (I've seen it and it is!) new catalogue due for release September 1st you can say Hello to the new! Please email me if you would like to order a NEW Idea book and catalogue from me for $12.95. It will be to you as quick as the postie is! :) (We can distribute them during August!!) Or receive one for free when you host a workshop in September!!

I thought we could take a little trip down memory lane by revisiting some projects I have created with some of the retiring sets....

Happy Birthday....

To me!
Yep, 28 years old today. And sitting at home with a sick hubby and three challenging little people! But, I have settled bubby Samuel (now 9 weeks old) and have the older two playing happily out in the garden so I thought I would visit with all my blog friends and share a little card - a birthday card!
This card was made for my lovely friend who celebrated her birthday at the end of December. I know she likes the Stampin' up! Love leter DSP so I made this card with similar colours. I used cherry cobbler, basic black and very vanilla cardstock. The ribbon is the gorgeous 5/8" black satin ribbon. I have embossed the Cherry cobbler CS with the Manhattan Flower textured impressions and the little butterfly from the Great friend stamp set has been embossed for a glossy finish. The sentiment comes from the set, Teeny tiny sentiments - such a useful set!

I hope you all have a happy day. My plan, to enjoy the day as it comes, doing what I love, being a mum. I hope this card inspires you to create something fun today!
Happy Stamping!
Love, Claire

Great friend

Do you have a great friend? Someone who you can call about anything in the world? When you're down or when you are excited about something? And regardless of how you sound on the end of the phone they'll gladly chat with you about whatever it is that is happening in your world. I am so blessed to have a friend like that!
This friend is who I made this little card for...
And this friend is going into hospital today for an operation and I just wanted to say that Natalie, I am thinking of you and praying for you. May you have God's perfect peace over all of this. Love you heaps my Great Friend!

Beautiful butterflies

I just love the Great Friend set from the Stampin' Up Spring Mini Catalogue. And there are only two more months left that it can be purchased. I thought I would have a little play with it today and came up with this card using the rock and roll method for the butterflies:

I used Certainly Celery for the card and the inks used for the butterflies are Orchid opulence with Lovely lilac, Pirouette pink with Pixie pink and Tempting turquoise with Brilliant blue. The ribbon is 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain and the oval punch is pink pirouette.
I hope this can be a little bit of inspiration for you!
Happy Stamping,
Love Claire

Great Friend Tri Shutter Card

This card was so much fun to create! A few scores, folds and cuts and you have this very special looking card. The left image is the front of the card when folded and the right image is the card opened up. I enjoyed using up some of my Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper (DSP) and it looks lovely next to the Great Friend stamp set images. Great Friend is one of the new stamp sets in the Spring Mini Catalogue. In fact, if you attend our Spring Mini launch workshop on August 15th you will get to make one of these lovely cards. I hope to see you there!
